A School in Kenya
We haven't collected enough money to cover the cost of the Easter basket yet.  If every student donated $2-$3 we would reach our goal.  All proceeds go to build a school in Kenya through Free the Children. Please consider participating. 


The Grade 5 Class takes first place in the Energy Diet Challenge

Lorass Recycling Contest
One of the students in our class won the Lorass recycling poster contest.  The winner will be announced tomorrow. The prize is a 16 GB iPod Touch. 


25Acts of Energy Conservation Campaign
Our class also submitted our projects to the 25Acts of Energy Conservation Campaign through the Saskatchewan Environmental Society.  For more details please click on the link.

Hall of Fame
Congratulations to Lindsey and Nathan for being the first students in our class to achieve a GOLD certificate in Matheletics.  Way to go!!!  Please encourage your kids to do the same.
