A School in Kenya
Thank you for your contribution of items and money to our class Easter basket.  All proceeds go to build a school in Kenya through Free the Children.

The Grade 5 Class takes first place in the Energy Diet Challenge

Lorass Recycling Contest
Congratulations to Lexie who won the Lorass Recycling Poster Contest.  Today she was presented with a 16 GB iPod Touch.  Congratulations to Kelly, Lindsey, and Breanne for receiving honorable mentions.  Their work will be proudly displayed at Lorass Recycling. 

25Acts of Energy Conservation Campaign
Our class also submitted our projects to the 25Acts of Energy Conservation Campaign through the Saskatchewan Environmental Society.  For more details please click on the link.

Going for the Gold
Congratulations to Lindsey and Nathan for being the first students in our class to achieve a GOLD certificate in Matheletics.  Way to go!!!  Please encourage your kids to do the same.

HOMEWORK
Homework for over the break
-Read 20 minutes per day
-Mathletics -please do 3 twenty minute sessions per week - Focus on 2D Shapes and 3D Objects - the Geometry test will be after the break
Do all available activities first (including 'something easier' and 'something harder') then do Live Mathletics 
-Work on Term 3 Goals
-Worldvuze - Ask a question and leave an answer
-Leave comments on Mr. Wagner's Class Energy Reduction Blog
