Christmas Karaoke Assignment

For this assignment you will be performing a song in front of the class.  You should be ready to perform by Wed Dec 12.  The focus of the evaluation will be on the effort you put in and not so much on how well you sing on key.

Instructions
1.Pick one of the Christmas Karaoke songs on Mr. Wagner’s YouTube playlist or pick a different one of your choice. To find other songs you can search on YouTube.  For example: “Jingle Bell Rock Karaoke”.
If you still can’t find a song you like, you could also purchase a song from The Karaoke Channel at the link below for $1.49.  There are 115 Christmas songs to choose from.  Once you download it bring it to school on a memory stick.

The songs from my YouTube playlist are below these instructions.  You can also go directly to the playlist by clicking the link.

2. Email the link of the YouTube Karaoke song that you want to choose to Mr. Wagner.  Also, send me a link to a non-Karaoke version of the song (the song with lead vocals).

3. Practice singing the song with the non-Karaoke version.  If it does not have lyrics you will need to do a Google search to find them.  When you practice, try to make your voice sound the same as the singer.  Listen as you sing.

4. Once you know the song well practice with the Karaoke version.

5. Practice until you are able to sing the song without looking at the lyrics.
