We are now in the first week of Advent.  Here's a video we watched in school.  Take a look.

Reading reminder
Don't forget to encourage your child to read for 20 minutes every night.  A few reading suggestions:  
Sunday - Child reads silently 
Monday - Parent reads out loud to child
Tues - Child reads out loud to parent  
Wed - Child listens to audio book (available at the Public Library and on iTunes) and follows along in a paper copy of the book
Thurs - Child reads to sibling

-30 Day Gospel Prayer Challenge- students are encouraged to pray everyday and read the 21 chapters of the Gospel of John between Nov 15-Dec 15.   -Socks and mitten donations to donate to the less fortunate in Saskatoon
