Homework
-Practice for Advent Celebration- Wed -parents please have your child read their part to you and give them feedback on Reading accurately, clearly, loudly, enthusiastically, and at a good pace that is not to fast.

-Christmas Karaoke assignment -students will continue performing this week
-Spelling Test -Around the World with Renewable Energy -Friday
-Advent Conspiracy Goals



 


Reminders  
-Thank you to Paige's family who have offered to drop off the food hamper - thanks to all the families for your generosity
-We need a parent volunteer to check out books for library period Tuesday's from 10:45-11:15 starting in January.  Please contact me if you can.
-Secret Angel gift - students have all received a classmate to buy a gift for as well as a list of some of their favourite gifts.  The price range is $5. Gifts are due Wed Dec 19.

Fully Alive at Home 

Please continue working through the Fully Alive Family Resource at home.  The Fully Alive program will be complete just before Christmas holidays.  It can be found here: http://curtiswagner.blogspot.ca/p/docs-to-download.html   

Reading reminder
Don't forget to encourage your child to read for 20 minutes every night.  A few reading suggestions:  
Sunday - Child reads silently 
Monday - Parent reads out loud to child
Tues - Child reads out loud to parent  
Wed - Child listens to audio book (available at the Public Library and on iTunes) and follows along in a paper copy of the book
Thurs - Child reads to sibling
