Smarter Science Better Buildings at the Western Development Museum

On Thursday, February 1, the grade 7 students will be traveling by bus to the Western Development Museum to take part in a learning and inquiry experience called the Smarter Science Better Buildings program. We will be leaving at 12:15 and returning to the school around 3:00.  Students will be learning about energy efficiency and sustainable buildings. Smarter Science Better Buildings (SSBB) combines interactive displays specific to energy efficiency in buildings, with inquiry into the energy efficiency of the historical buildings on site. The program meets the requirements for about 10 curriculum outcomes. We are grateful to SaskEnergy for providing our transportation.
