We have recently begun a new Language Arts unit: Conservation of Energy.  Today we took part in a Webcast with Saskatchewan Science Centre.
 
Everyday Homework 
-Read for 20 minutes
-Mathletics - 3 20 minute session per week (Work on core lessons related to current class unit and any other incomplete core lessons.  Once these lessons are complete students can work on 'something harder', 'Something Easier', and Live Mathletics)

-The 100 Book Challenge- our class is taking on a challenge to read 100 books during Lent (4 books per student).  If we reach our goal, Scholastic will donate books to the less fortunate.
