We had fun with our snow man building contest today.  We also spent some time on our new ELA unit in the library with Mrs. De La Rosa and Mrs. Cherniawsky.  Good luck to all of our track runners.  We know you will represent us well. 

Unfortunately, due to a lack of snow, the cross country ski trip to Beaver Creek has been cancelled. 

Congratulations to the Grade 4/5 class for reading 100 books.  Scholastic will now be making a donation of books to less fortunate children. 

Our class started a unit on healthy and unhealthy relationships.  We have discussed how feelings affect us and how we can get help when we need it.  A puppet show presentation took place yesterday.  Please ask your children what they learned.    


Everyday Homework 
-Read for 20 minutes
-Mathletics - 3 20 minute session per week (Work on core lessons related to current class unit and any other incomplete core lessons.  Once these lessons are complete students can work on 'something harder', 'Something Easier', and Live Mathletics)
