IMPORTANT NOTICE
The bike trip was cancelled today due to a last minute report of possible lightning.  It is postponed until tomorrow as long as we get enough parent volunteers.  Please email me ASAP if you can join us.   

We had a fantastic experience at Wanuskewin on Friday.  Thanks to Sandra Weinheimer, Rob Hurd, Corinne & Randy Harms and Carol Mailloux for volunteering.  

We had a great day swimming at Riversdale on Thursday.  Thanks to Trisha Fast, Rob Hurd, and Robyn Flamon for joining us.    

A big thank you to Blair Weinheimer for donating and cutting the wood for the Father's Day gifts.

Congratulations to  Makenna S for winning a Gold medal at her soccer tournament

Congratulations to the grade 5's for a first place tie in the Classroom Energy Diet Challenge out of 1,274 classes registered in Canada.  Our class won a Visa gift card for $2500.
Congratulations to the grade 5's for winning $200 from the 25Acts of Energy Conservation Campaign through the Saskatchewan Environmental Society.
Congratulations to Lindsey and Nathan for being the first students in our class to achieve a GOLD certificate in Matheletics.  Way to go!!!  Please encourage your kids to do the same.

Everyday Homework
-Read 20 minutes per day
-Mathletics -please do 3 twenty minute sessions per week
Do all available activities first (including 'something easier' and 'something harder') then do Live Mathletics 
-Work on Term 3 Goals
-Worldvuze - Answer questions


REMINDERS
-Ensure that you have everything needed for the bike trip including a bike, helmet, and lock in good working order.  Those that volunteered, please bring your camera with a fully charged battery.
-School Registration -overdue
-All library books- overdue
-Please bring ball gloves for the last week of school
