3. If you can’t find a song you like, use any Christmas song of your choice that you can get the instrumental for (other places to look include iTunes and the Karaoke Channel website – www.thekaraokechannel.com, then click on download store, then Holiday.  These other options cost money to download).
4. Record your choice on the signup sheet.
5. Email your choice to Mr. Wagner if it is not on the playlist.  In your email, include the link to the Karaoke version and vocal version.  If it is a song you downloaded, bring it to school on a memory stick and give it to your teacher.
6. At home, listen to the song with vocals numerous times.
7. Practice singing the song with the vocals until you know it well.
8. Practice the karaoke version of the song (without vocals) until you know it well.

11. Perform the song again in front of your parents and ask if you have improved.
12. Sing it to the class at our Christmas Karaoke Challenge.
13. A few students will then do a concert for a primary classroom.

Is it evident that you spent sufficient time practicing?

4.     Voice
Are you pronouncing words accurately, clearly, loudly, and enthusiastically?
5.     Stage presence
Are you making eye contact with the audience, showing confidence, and smiling?
