Stations
of the Resurrection Shadow Play – Thursday, April 25 -1:00pm
Each year during Lent our students watch the Stations of the Cross, which
walk through the last few days of Jesus’ life.
This year the grade 5 class has written a production based on the Stations
of the Resurrection, which re-enact the 50 days that Jesus spent on
Earth after rising from the dead. Sometimes we stop thinking about Easter after
the break, but the season continues until Pentecost Sunday on May 19.
Mr. Wagner’s grade 5 class would like to invite you to journey
with them back in time around 2000 years to the year 33 AD. Our Stations
of the Resurrection Shadow Play will take place on Thursday, April 25 at 1:00pm. Through real life images, engaging
videos, and a moving soundtrack we anticipate that those who witness this
production will experience the resurrection in a new and meaningful way. We hope that you can join us. -Mr. Wagner’s grade 5 class

Community Youth Challenge
Students from St. Luke School are invited to take part in the Community Youth Challenge from April 15-19.
Every classroom that submits a Classroom Challenge Entry Form will
WIN
Saskatchewan Roughrider youth vouchers that can be redeemed for tickets
to a 2013 home game! The grand prize consists of a healthy lunch and
autograph session with Neal Hughes, Keith Shologan
and Scott McHenry from the Saskatchewan Roughriders! I think our class could win this so we are setting some specific goals.
1. Get at least 30 minutes or more of exercise every evening (This could include sports that the kids are already involved in or doing physical activity as a family such as going for a walk etc.)
2. Walk to and from school (if possible)
3. Extra gym time at school (I will see what I can arrange)
