Thanks to Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Appel for volunteering at our WintaFest Event.  It is greatly appreciated.

This week we had the Safeship nurses working in our classroom.  They talked about creating a positive learning environment.  Please ask your children about what they learned.

-Spelling Test -Thurs - Pirate, Princess, Me and the Rat, 4 Star Movie 
-Read for 20 minutes everyday

Prayer leader Schedule  
Our class will be leading prayer on the intercom for the month of March.  The have received their parts for Holy week. Please help your children practice.

Dear parents,
As a reward for good behaviour the students are receiving an afternoon of outdoor physical activity.  They are entitling it Wintafest (Even though it’s spring).  Parents are welcome to join us.  We need one parent volunteer to supply and prepare hot chocolate for the students.  Please let me know if you are available.  The schedule is below.

Thursday, March 28
12:45-1:15- Snowman building contest (3-4 students per group)
1:15-1:45 – Hockey on the rink, sledding on the hill
1:45-2:00 – Hockey and skating on the rink, sledding on the hill
2:00-2:15 – Skating on the rink, sledding on the hill
2:15-2:30 - recess
2:30-2:45 -Biggest snowball contest
2:45-3:00 – Hot chocolate in the class
